Here’s a festive game that encourages children to practice question forms and review Christmas vocabulary. Target language: “What do you want for Christmas?” “I want…..”

Age: Children 6+

You’ll need: Christmas vocabualary flashcards, cut in half

Give each child “half” a Christmas flashcard and tell them to search for their other half by walking around, asking their classmates “What do you want for Christmas?” Children answer “I want… (the character/object on their flashcard). The first pair to match their cards, wins Change Christmas halves and repeat game.
