Miranda’s CHEESY FEET COUNTDOWN
I always give a time limit for children to put away their activity materials and get themselves sitting down quietly- ready to start the next activity.
Without a time limit children tend to endlessly chat and clown around which wastes precious language learning minutes.
I count down from 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 – By the time I reach “1” everyone must be seated and quiet.
Everyone shouts out in unison “CHEESY FEET!!”
to the last person seated
