Teachers…Be Theatrical and Captivate Your Audience!

Some children love their teachers while others really dislike them. Why is that?

Why is it that some teachers make us learn and love a subject while others send us to sleep?

I was talking to a 10 year old the other day and I asked him if he had a teacher he really disliked at school,  he said “Yes, my Maths teacher!” and I said “Why?” And he said “Because she’s boring!” And I said “Why is she boring?” “Because she always speaks like a robot!”

I meet a lot of teachers and often they’re so focused on WHAT they are teaching that they completely forget the importance of HOW to teach it .

The importance of using your VOICE and SOUNDING interesting is fundamental if you want  to capture a child’s attention and maintain it.

So HOW can you make your speaking voice sound more interesting ?
