English can be scary for kids, let’s help them be less scared

One of your comments got me thinking today….
I see a child’s FIRST experience with language learning similar to when a toddler tries new food; if their FIRST taste is unpleasant, it will take an awful long time and a lot of coercing for them to be open and try it again!
To make language learning a positive experience for children, I think it’s important to “break the ice,” have fun and start to build their trust before feeding them too much grammar and syntax – too early. English can be scary for kids, let’s help them be less scared 🙂
